B J Fadem was born in St. Louis, Missouri to a close and loving family. She's no stranger to hardwork, putting herself through college working several jobs both day and night.  B J Fadem began her career working for the large Law Firms but she felt she would be better suited giving a more personal approach to her clients.  As a result she has helped 1000's of satisfied clients since starting her own Family Law Practice in 1991.  Keeping in mind that children can be intimidated by a professional atmosphere, B J Fadem keeps her office child friendly.  She's a big fan of baseball, has a great guitar collection and enjoys spending time with her family.

B J Fadem has all the credentials and experience to handle any legal issue in Family Law you have. She deals with legal issues from Divorce, Custody , International Child Abduction/Jurisdiction, (International Jurisdiction for California is both State & Federal),  Mediation, Spousal Support, Domestic Child Abduction/Removal of Child or Domestic Violence. She has represented clients throughout Northern California including Santa Clara County, Alameda County, Santa Cruz County, San Mateo County, San Francisco County, San Beneto County, Sonoma County, Monterey County, Contra Costa County, Marin County, San Jacquin County and Sacramento County.  She also represents clients throughout the United States.

• San Jose State University Under Grad 1980, with a BS in Molecular Biology & Administration of Justice
• Graduated from Golden Gate University of San Francisco 1984
• Licensed since 1985 in California to practice Law
• Certified Family Law Specialist in California since 1999
  
• Court appointed to represent minor children since 1990
• former San Jose Police Officer
• Conducts Family Law Seminars on behalf of the Santa Clara Bar Association & the National Business Institute (NBI)
• A member of "Association of Certified Family Law Specialist" (ACFLS)
• National Association of Child Counsel (NACC)
• California Family Law Advisory Commission-Board Member
• California Conference of Delegates-Santa Clara County-Delegate
