Restraining Orders

Whether you are divorced, separated, ending a relationship, are being harassed by someone, or are in fear for your safety or your families, you NEED a Restraining Order. If you are a victim of Domestic Violence you need a Restraining Order. Our Attorneys with years of experience in Family Law can help you in this matter.

There are 2 types of Restraining Orders:
       Domestic Violence
       Civil Harassment

Domestic Violence is the physical abuse of a wife, girl friend, husband, boy friend, partner, dependent, grandparent, or child. The feeling of dependence, low self-esteem and fear of leaving their partner is a vicious cycle of Domestic Violence. Prosecutors, Law Enforcement and the Courts have many ways to help victims and their families stop this cycle. Our Attorneys can also help you.

Civil Harassment is the act of constant and / or continued unprovoked and annoying actions of someone or a group, including threats and demands. This may include racial prejudice, threatening phone calls, emails, and notes or letters. The act of threatening someone to quit their job, force someone to get sexual favors, gain sadistic pleasure, or make someone feel anxious or fearful. It may also involve revenge by an ex or blackmail.

If you are going through a Custody and Visitation matter and are, or have been served with a Restraining Order, whether it is criminal or civil, you could lose many of your rights to your family.
