Mediation

Mediation can be used for several Family Law legal issues such as Divorce, Child Support, Custody & Visitation, Property Divistion & Characterization, Second Parent Adoption, Legal Separation, or even Domestic Violence cases. Attorney B J Fadem, with over 20 years experience in Family Law has helped hundreds of clients settle their matters through Mediation.

Attorney B J Fadem, as a Mediator attempts to bring the parties' disputes to an early resolution through a conference. The Courts are not involved. The parties do not have to be represented by Counsel, but may.

As a Mediator Attorney BJ Fadem has assisted 100's of people resolve their issues without the huge complications of Court procedures, documents, and conflicts.  It first starts with a consultation with the parties involved to discuss the issue(s) involved and the goals that are desired.  BJ Fadem will advise all parties involved what will be required to make the Mediation move as smooth, civil and uncomplicated as possible.  The time frame for completion of the process will depend on the requirements of the legal issues.  BJ Fadem will guide you throughout the entire process to reach your goals as desired.

Mediation is less expensive then going through a Court Trial. It is usually faster then waiting for a Court opening. And clients have more control over the decisions made, whereas if you go to Court the Judge makes the decisions. Attorney B J Fadem, once the matters are agreed upon through Mediation, drafts the paperwork, processes the documents through the Court, and the Judge signs the Judgments. The case is settled.

If your case is a high-conflict matter and / or the Opposing Side is not willing to settle the matter civilly or politely, Mediation is not what you are looking for. Attorney B J Fadem will not Mediate if both parties are not willing to submit to the process and are eager to settle the matter agreeably. Attorney B J Fadem also will not legally represent either party.
